I'm thinking you weren't looking very hard. So much bashing of montgomery county basketball... Alex played for Fairfax Stars for years and played with Metro Stars last summer.

Chili is the anti-hype. Slayer of hypemiesters. Shunner of individual accolades. Haver of life balance. Defender of Childhood.
Its easy to forget about her because most people only talk about those kids jockeying for slots at the top D1s.
Obviously, she is a pure player who plays for the LOVE of the game. You don't know her name because she never cared about that side of this subcult -ure.
Imagine, with her pedigree, CHOOSING a small D3 I know I've never heard of because it fits her own needs and wants.
Now THAT's how you raise a superstar!!:D
Wishing her nothing but the best at the next level.

not a secret! She has been firing the tre ball up her entire high school career! She could shot it anywhere on the floor! Range is impecable! & She can shoot it off the dribble! All she needed was some help! Melana point gaurd at Seton used to be her partner in crime.. but she opted to leave Mo Co and ht PG!

I don't know how much of a secrete she is but she is a classic shooter. Flat out shooter. Spring/Summer she did not play in the select circuit but she did play.
What school is she attending next year? I did not read the post article if they mentioned it their.

She could of gone higher, but her major is not a common one from what i understand and this school has it, plus is closer to home, plus she will start from day 1 and will possibly end of being the all-time leading scorer at that school.

She ain't no secret I have seen and coached against her for years.
The good...she can fill it up from anywhere and everywhere when open. She is a very good passer also.
The not so good....she is not a great defender and when played in a real M2M she is an average shooter...check her stat lines against Blake and Whitman. A rising 8th grade Tiara Butler/North Point and a rising soph Danielle Douglas/Blake held her to 3 pts and 3 offensive fouls in a MoCo summer league game 2 yrs ago.
She did sit on the Stars bench for half the summer and moved to the Metro Stars when it was clear she was not going to get off the bench.
She has played in the local showcases and she struggled because of the style of play.
AJ I have to disagree, there was considerable hype around her mainly coming from her Daddy and the local paper tried very early to anoint her.
She is going to D3 Mulenburg in PA which plays a style that fits her game perfectly.

Okay yeah I know about daddy trying to get an LOI for her at Duke before she could dribble.
But I always liked her game & her attitude so I was trying to give her and the others in her life the credit for HER level head.
I'm happy to reject and denounce daddy.

I think she realized before her Dad did that she was not an ACC-level player and that is great... it takes a ton of maturity for a teenage girl to realize what level of basketball she can and wants to play. I am sure she will do very well in college and the school that she select is a top notch D3 program that gets to the post season on a regular basis.

is actually Nikki Day/Northwest(Howard).
Didn't really start to play until 10th grade and never played real elite level/showcase stuff. 6 ft lefty with long wing span, can shoot the trey and get to the bucket and under different circumstances could have been an A-10/CAA level recruit.

"Okay yeah I know about daddy trying to get an LOI for her at Duke before she could dribble"
ok you're kidding right. tell me it ain't so. I mean the kid dropped 2 grand. like ok I get it she's wide open but 2 grand? as a point? without any help? where's the adjustment on D? I mean who's coaching the other teams, joe gibbs? of course not even joe would see that...well maybe not. I get it the team is not winning much, but where's your pride? come on mo county, 2 g's that's like 5 c notes a year. break it down 25 games a year, that's a dove a game. I bet dukes probably kicking themselves in the booty right now...maybe not I mean they are getting a pretty good class coming in. if she plays and D I'll take her, if for nothing else to keep the other team busy. shooter like that are not easy to come by and don't for get they say dad is 6'10", she may have a few more inches in her.
