Team Adidas New York

I have received word that John Phillips (Women's director of Adidas) has given the okay to put together an elite team for adidas to represent New York. The team will be called TEAM ADIDAS NEW YORK.

This All Star team of 10 players and one alternate will represent New York. The team will be a 17U team who will compete in all the of national elite tournaments such as Boo Williams, Adidas Showtime, Nike Roundball, Vegas Invitational, DC Jr. Nationals, just to name a few. This team will be traveling to every top elite tournament from East Coast to West Coast, Down South, everywhere.

As of now, the details are still coming in and I'll have more information in a couple of weeks. I will also provide you with the contact information and email addresses with times and places of the tryouts.

The coaches will be named at a later time.

Why would they do this? I thought Exodus was an adidas team. It has been representing New York pretty well, I'd say.

There is a website up about this top, I left it at work but will post it tommorrow. Sounds like a new sheriff in town with big pockets. If they are trying to truly make a nation team than no program is safe with their money that can be tossed around

its the website for the Adidas sponsored events. Looks like Exodus and Long Island Lightning are the NY representatives for Adidas.

Exodus has been an Adidas sponsored team. This will be a newly formed Adidas team representing New York.

Question is why does Adidas want to put together an Elite team when they already have two in NY? Also why not share the website so we can view it for ourselves
