Bellaire won the Sandra Meadows Tournament, one of the top Texas tournments and Cy Fair beat Dulles led by Kelsey Bone. I don't know how De Soto did but I believe they are still undefeated and all three are ranked in USATODAYS top 25.

Yep,

They will all be ranked when none of the top texas teams can find a way to meet each other in any of the winter tournaments. Where is Katy ?

I am not sure I would rank any of the tx teams, they don't even travel to play each other.

What is that all about?

Most of the districts in the Houston area have rules on not letting the kids stay overnight, this is why Cy Fair doesn't travel. HISD let's their teams go and Bellaire became the second team, in fact the second HISD team to win the Sandra Meadows Classic
http://www.sandrameadowsclassic.com in back to back fashion. I really don't understand why people feel that TEXANS should come to them when fact of the matter is we had 3 highly touted boys National Teams ,Oak Hill Academy (Virginia) - #1 ranked, St. Patrick (New Jersey) - #2 ranked and Montverde Academy (Florida) - #3 ranked come into HOUSTON and get popped http://visionsports.com/HvsN/2007/results.html. The sad thing however is we can't get the top Houston area teams to meet in one tournament but as far as the rankings go, it's only someones opinion.

is it possible to have a major holiday tourney in texas and have some of the top out of state teams come in and battle some of the top in state teams, I know riverdale baptist comes to texas every year (lone star tourney or something) but I think they usually win that tourney. maybe you can get the top teams in there or put together something new and fresh.

It's possible but remember many teams in Houston can't travel. Dalls doesn't even have their top teams in one tournament, it's just not the same, however I think our talent level is right there with the big boys. I was told one college coach saw Bellaire and made the statement they were better than the team ranked #1 in the nation.
