AR plus 7 in their first TOC? Do you know something I don't know about Shelbyville? They're getting their star post back in Jarrell and their starting pg. Any thoughts? That's a big spread for a national tournament.

Riverside is battle tested, beat Sealth, hung with Exodus and Shelbyville is 7-3. Their two missing starters was news to me. AR may play a faster pace then they are ready for if it is their first game back.I still like AR, but the 6'6" girl may drop the line to +2. I am also wrong a lot.

Seven it was although the two ft's with 1 second left is what gave you your AR spread. Vegas should have lost with an under bet at 5 but nevertheless you picked it right, 57-50.

The Redmond Mustangs led wire to wire as they defeated the Juanita Rebels, at Juanita, in league play. Senior guard Mary Petrie led the Mustangs to victory with several brilliant passes to teammates for wide open lay-ups. She also hit two key 3 pointers, finishing with 12 points. The entire Mustang team followed Mary's lead in playing unselfish basketball as Redmond ran the floor superbly.
Juanita, a much improved squad, played smart, hard nosed basketball the entire game. Led by Sr. forward "Breezy" Rinehart-Young's 17 points and lightning quick junior guard Oliva Marshall's 13, the Rebels came back from a 14 point halftime deficit to pull within 8 points in the 3rd quarter before Redmond slammed the door. Juanita falls to 2-3 in league play and 4-3 overall.
Redmond's leading scorer was junior wing Courtney Martin, who had 17. Senior forward Katie Kruger chipped in 9 points for the Mustangs. Redmond moves to 3-2 in KingCo 4A Conference league play and 4-2 overall.

"wire to wire" makes it sound like it was close, which it appears it wasn't...
I haven't closely followed KingCo 4A for a while. When was the last time Juanita made the playoffs/had a winning season? Anyone? Bueller?

In my vernacular leading wire to wire means the team led from first basket scored to final buzzer, in other words never trailing in the game. Hope that clears it up. :)
To your other point, indeed Juanita has struggled the past few years. I am not sure when the last time they made playoffs or had a winning season as my knowledge is limited to only the past few seasons. I mentioned that they were an improved squad this year and I stand by that comment. I was impressed in the change in this squad from last year. I think they may surprise a few teams this season. Their new coach Sam Lee has them playing at a much higher level, with great intensity and improved schemes both offensively and defensively.
