If so can some help me on a couple members,,, I have read and followed this selection and trials and am not too familiar with a couple kids, Amy Jaeshke and Allyssa Dehaan. There has not been a lot written about them, they were chosen over Cain (who I understand had an ankle problem) and I was wondering if the commitee was carring 15 kids instead of 12. Can anyone bring me up to date on them and also Rushjan(sp) whom I had read was having trouble adjusting to the style of play the coaches were asking for?

I appreciated the heck out of Amy's game last summer. I got to enjoy a few games that she really brought her A game playing with Adidas Full Package Team. One of her teammates is another strong big girl Sarah Boothe.
Amy is a strong finisher, left and right in the paint with a nice package of post moves and can pull up for a nice jumper when needed. Defensively mobile and smarts on the court. She ran the court well last year and was a difficult stop for most teams at the Adidas Tourney.

As to the number 15 - as I understand it, there will be Three More Cuts.
I've not seen it first hand but through reading on boards elsewhere, I've heard that Allyssa DeHaan put on a clinic of the difference between a center and a CENTER to Jessica Davenport during the 06-07 school year. Also, she had a chance to work with Al Brown, who is widely considered one of the best post coaches around, for a year. Al Brown has since followed Coach P to Duke.
Lastly, I heard she has a hook shot.
That's all I can remember about her. Hopefully, others have more information.

6'9 center Alyssa DEHAAN led Michigan State in Rebounds (7.5 rpg), Blocked Shots (4.4 bpg, the most ever by a college freshman and which also ranked 2nd in the nation, trailing Duke's senior center Allison BALES by a measly 0.01 blocks per game), and FG% (53.0 FG%), while also scoring 12.5 ppg (2nd in the team), as a freshman last season.
And in one of her finer games last season, she led Michigan State to a road win against then 4th ranked Ohio State, as she scored 25 pts, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks in totally outplaying two-time First Team All-American Jessica DAVEPORT.
