Redmond pulled away in the third period and won in convincing fashion in their 4A KingCo league opener. Junior Courtney Martin led all scorers with 21 points and also led the Mustangs with 10 rebounds. Sophomore post Marissa Pratt had her second strong game in a row for Redmond finishing the night with 14 points.
The Bothell team, playing without post Mandy Saintz, showed a lot of heart pulling within 8 in the third period, before Redmond put them away for good. Whitney Anderson led Bothell with 20 points.

Nice game from Martin!
If I didn't have a game friday I'd go to that Roosevelt/Redmond game.
But I heard the Hazen game that got canceled is back on this satuday at Redmond so I'll probably go check that out. And ill probably go see Kingma and Jackson take on Snohomish

Good hard fought physical game. It was 21-21 at half, and then Redmond's Mary Petrie bombed in consecutive threes near the end of the third period and Redmond led by 4.
The fourth quarter belonged to Roosevelt as their strong team defense led to multiple Redmond turnovers down the stretch. Sr. Petrie led all scorers with 21. Roosevelt's balanced attack was led by Harris with 15 assisted by Boyd and Hemmelgarn with 13 each.
