Redmond used a 15-0 run in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach. Jr. Courtney Martin had 19 for Redmond, which had 4 girls in double figures, while SRs Brazen and Swanson had 24 and 19 respectively to lead Bellevue.

I went to this game last night. Meadowdale lost one real good player. She is playing at Western now. Meadowdale plays a full court trap most of the time. Monroe lost its point guard to Sultan. The first half saw an even game with Meadowdale holding a 6 point lead at the half. Meadowdale solved some problems getting all the players covered on the trap and started to get turnovers by the dozen. Won by 20. Meadowdale has two 6' post. Anna Molitar is the starter and got into foul trouble. Rebounds became a problem. However, when the defense solved their trap, didn't make any difference if they got the rebound or not. Meadowdale needed a good tough game to get some problems ironed out and they did.
