what happened to these players?

I occasionally keep track of local players as they head off into college. I was checking the USC schedule and notice they have a game against Pepperdine, which reminded me that Lacale Pringle-Buchanan should be back from her redshirt season last year and ready to play. Her name is no longer on the roster.

I then checked the University of Arizona page, where Lacale's former teammate, Malia O'Neal has been playing the last two years. Her name is no longer on the roster either!

Anyone know what happened to these two? They were so good in high school, and I'd really looked forward to seeing them play college ball all four years.

Lacale is playing at College of Southern Idaho, I believe, with Samantha Tinned. Don't know about Malia. There is a release on the Arizona website from mid-October saying that she had left.

Thanks for the info, csa. Does anyone know why Pringle and O'Neal gave up their scholarships? I'm just amazed.
