MMR looks like a great tourney with a tough road for Triple Threat Black with Ladies Beware, Baden Elite, Tree of Hope then Riverside or Southridge if it shakes out. This is great competition in our backyard.
Yakima was well run this year except a confusion regarding points in your pool. With three teams sharing 2-1 records in pool play, it was not total points versus the other three teams. They threw out the scores vs. the 4th team that lost to all so TT got a Sunday AM loser out with Spokane Stars Blue who beat TT and won the championship.
Heres a weird Yakima rule: with a 20 point lead the defense was told to stay inside the 3 point line. When Lee asked the ref if he was serious, he got T'd but they did not enforce their rule which added to the weirdness.
New coaching hires through the grapevine include Mo Hines from ECBA to WSU, a great pick up by Coach Daughtery..
Bishop Blanchet got a winner with longtime Roosevelt assistant Bryan Willison.
Kamiak hired a new coach who has experience at Carroll College in Montana.
Edmonds Woodway may have gotten Jackson assistant Michael Preston.

Congrats to Mo Hines! We all know how good of a coach Mo is and it's great to see him get the recognition he deserves!

Kamiak hired a new coach who has experience at Carroll College in Montana.

Apparently not as they just posted the job up again with the next screening beginning June 11th and continuing until the position if filled. Just posted this morning.

Jody Schauer, who coached Lynnwood girls last year, has accepted the position for Kamiak High School's girls taking over for Branda Anderson. Anderson has accepted the head girls position at Monroe High School after long time coach Alan Dickson stepped down last month.
