I don't recall any players off of Boo Williams go to Uconn or Utenn in the past 5-years.

Great point you brought up First. You would think with all the studs who have came out of Boo, Geno or Pat would have gotten their share.

Hmmm???

You are absolutely right. I s/w Tia Bell's mom. I thought that you were just referring to Boo Williams kids going to Uconn or UTenn. Bell will be attending NC State, which is an AAU school coached by Kay Yow.

What does that statement mean? You are saying that NC State is an AAU school?

'07
Evelyn Lewis- Penn State?, is she staying with that program?
Ebony Williams - Seton Hall

According to the two year list it looks like UMd & UNC may be tied with two, UVa may lead with three with Ari's LOI, only one, Kali, has gone to UConn with none going to Tenn.

Another question, are most of Boo's kids public school kids?

TM,

You can chalk that up to a brain freeze. TB and EW and EL are all very talented and I'm glad that I have you out there watching my back. I have to edit again with EW and EL. Thanks!

GA Metros last 12 months-

Kelly Cain - Tennessee
Alicia Manning - Tennessee
Maya Moore - UConn
Ashlie Billingslea - South Carolina
Courtney Newton - South Carolina

Last couple seasons
Ashley Houts-UGA
Jordan Greenleaf - Auburn
Tasha Humphrey - UGA
Stephanie Higgs - GA Tech
Jazz Covington - Louisville

FBC GA, this past season
Drey Mingo - Maryland -ACC
Jordan Jones - South Carolina- SEC
Antionette Howard - ???It is a mystery??? I am hearing alot about four schools ACC, Big Ten, Big East and SEC
Kiera Evans - Louisivlle - Big East
Shelby Poole - Princeton - Ivy League
Shunice Hardy - Central Florida
Anelia Murray - University of Tennessee Chattanooga
last year
Shantell Black - Ole Miss

Of those still in college right now, I have to hand it to an AAU squad that although doesnt travel and is all about teaching fundamentals the GA Magic had these players in their formative years during 14U and some 16U - (Maya Moore(UConn), Kelly Cain(Tennessee), Porsha Phillips(LSU) Jordan Jones(South Carolina), Shantell Black(Ole Miss), Keisha Swanier(UConn), Ashley Thomas(LSU), Danni Kubick(Auburn), Lauren Allen(Clemson), Marquita Driskell(UGA), India Ali (Hofstra), Christen Brown(Clemson) last seven finished out their AAU carerer with GA Magic has been one of the best DEVELOPMENT programs I have experienced under the instruction of Mike Green. Green won an AAU National Championship with Cain, Moore, Christi Thomas, Black, Ashley Thomas, Kubick, Phillips and Keisha Swanier.

Mike Green only charged the players the cost of uniforms and the AAU fees for each tournament divided by player. Parents and players were responsible for their own transportation/hotel/food etc.

So I wonder if we had to name an AAU program where the player played more than two seasons what the list of players going on would look like? It seems to me, at least in Georgia alot of the star players spend two seasons or less with most of the AAU/Summer,

But what's up with the rest of my questions? And what's up with the HK post...what is the AAU acronym referencing? Maybe I should visit him in his new neighborhood and ask him again. I am very curious to know...

Quick version, No Boo player CN or TN, here's the list, hk why Boo for Pat or Geno, Teammom CN player Kali and NC State Tia (confusion starts), hk oh ok Kali CN (Big East) but Tia is "NC State AAU" (meant to say ACC), why no TN (SEC), what's up with AAU, meant to say ACC but I'm not available now, but why did you mention Tia when I said Pat/Geno, cause Tia wasn't on f2k's list of Boo players, but f2k has since edited post and added Tia, it seemed as if you were saying that Geno took Kali at CN, and Pat took Tia at NC State, but Yao is at NC State which is an AAU I mean ACC school, my bad I lumped both names in one post and wasn't specifying why. But whats up with AAU are you dissing NCS, no I meant to say ACC sorry was talking about Boo and made a mistake. TN and Pat are SEC I'm like where are the Boo players there. I'm so confused so are you saying that you thought that I was saying that Tia was going to play for Pat at NCS? Yes, and are you saying that I was saying that NCS was AAU? Yes. I sorry. When I get back I will explain fully.; But the real question is why no Boo at TN since we got the CN thing cleared up. Could it be the Boo/Nike and Pat/adidas......naw this ain't the men's game. Besides I'm sure adidas/nike has gotten over that Holdsclaw thing by now.

AH, diva that is a confusing post, i get attacked for it all the time. but that was a confusing read. Tia Bell was brought up because she was left off the Boo Williams list. Kaili played for boo in 05 and went to uconn in 06, HK was making a remark about NCST being a glorified AAU team. Wow, Maybe St johns can start recruiting from NCST,

I know it was very confusing, I made the original post which took about 25 minutes and was very clear. I hit the spell checker icon, and then was asked to download spellchecker. I said yes then backed out and my post was gone. The free spellchecker asked if I wanted to buy a spyware blocker with spell checker plus for a fee. I declined and then I got a pop up saying you got spyware since I disabled my pop up blocker. So at 1 am EST and about an hour of typing, I redid the post and thats what you've got. You I tried to edit but that was a differrent issue.

I don't know who asked for the interpretation/summary from diva, and I'm sorry you went through all of that to post cuz I would've loved to be a lil less confused! The original post asked what schools have BWE players attended & had any gone 2 UConn or Tenn. We answered. HK & 1st are my board buddies that I can call out when I see fit...I believe HK meant ACC but won't know until he clears it up...Wolfie LOL!
